It seems Jake Gyllenhaal is having a fantastic time on stage! If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet has announced a two-week extension at off-Broadway's Laura Pels Theatre. The comic drama was originally scheduled to run through November 25, but will now take a 12-day break and resume performances from December 8 through December 23.
The Roundabout Theatre Company production urrently stars Gyllenhaal, Annie Funke, Michelle Gomez and Brian F. O’Byrne as a family forced to deal with their dysfunctions when 15-year-old Anna is made a target for bullying because of her weight. Enid Graham (The Constanat Wife) will take over the role of Fiona from Gomez on October 23.
The play was written by Nick Payne and directed by Michael Longhurst, with a creative team that includes set designer Beowulf Boritt, costume designer Susan Hilferty, lighting designer Natasha Katz and original music and sound by Obadiah Eaves.
